  They are watching the same (or different) crap online instead of on their TVs. Not a big difference.

  Buried for inaccurate. They are watching the same show, just a different manner. The article specifically mentions Place-shifting. They aren't watching some made for online clip. This is the same TV show, just from the computer and not from their TV. FTA: "Place-shifting alternatives may be changing consumer couch-potato behavior," according to the study. People aren't watching less south park, they are watching it online.

  I just watch TV online. Hulu is sweet, what can I say? I wouldn't pirate any TV shows if CBS would stop ***** around and put Big Bang Theory up on their site in whole episodes. Commercials + Convenience > Bit Torrent. Just give it to me and collect your money, you corporate bastards!
