I see your point. I hate having to have to pay my hard earned cash for her and other criminals to live better than some people who didn't commit any crime at all. They should change the death penalty. Criminals should be executed in the way that they murdered their victims, not merely put down like an animal.
She wasn't found guilty. She confessed. She admitted she was guilty. The death sentence is completely merited in this case, except for the U.N. resolution that crimes of minors cannot be punishable by death (which the U.S. has violated numerous times, as it has sentenced folks for crimes committed when as young as 7 years of age).
I feel in cases where the person confesses AND the evidence corroborates the confession the sentence should be carried out that day or as soon as the procedure can be carried out. Appeals should be saved for those who continue to profess their innocence.
