Buried for saying something that in no way pertains to how s**t new Digg is.
Seriously if we stop complaining about it the bosses will think we've become happy with it.
How many people are bummed that, in a country that rebuilt a destroyed Chicago and San Francisco in a few years, we haven't been able to rebuild TWO BUILDINGS IN A DECADE?
The New United States is one in which we wallow in misery and bicker about how best to render a scar permanent. There shouldn't have been any debate: The WTC should have been rebuilt looking exactly the same but 50% taller and with modern safety systems. I don't even live in New York, and I'm pissed that its skyline has been blighted like this.
And to propose that we call the inadequate replacement the "Freedom Tower", perpetuating that infantile lie perpetrated by the Bush administration that "they hate our freedom"? DISGRACEFUL.
The failure to rebuild the WTC in a decade perfectly sums up what kind of a country we've become. Losers.
56 Diggs, 1 Comment in 42 hours gets promoted to the front page? There are tons of stories that are doing way better (and aren't negative towards Digg) that aren't getting promoted. Whats the deal?
Opponents want to "preserve the uniqueness of the city's skyline". WTF kind of logic is that? If they wanted things to be that way, there would be no city there in the first place.
The deal is: you're standing in the carcass of a once incredible social news site. You're knee high in corporate bulls**t. Simply, this new Digg sucks.

At least they didn't demolish a perfectly good Empire State Building and replace it with a piece of s**t.

the empire state is like old digg and that new skyscraper is like new digg, mediocre, bland, clunky, poorly executed, an eyesore, an insult, etc.

The deal is money lining the pockets of digg from major corporations for their stories to hit front page.
