As someone who lives in Seoul, everyone talking about war needs to shut the f**k up. This was an expected event with the transition of power coming up.
All of the evacuation zones are south of the Han River, 25 some odd million people are within artillery range of the north. They blow the bridges if the north advances, that means millions of people stranded to keep the north from going any further.
War is not very likely as the north wants things to stay as they are, but it is always a possibility.
Anyone who wants it to escalate to war doesn't know what the f**k they are talking about.
no. the north will claim they were defending against an attack, the south will say it was unprovoked (it was) and they will go back and forth until the north 'agrees' not to do it again. or they will double-dog dare the world to 'Come at me, bro!'
I think it would be better if they used a proxy pylon behind North Korea's base below the cliff, then using an observer to spot the high ground, then warping in chargelots to Nkorea's mineral line.
Beecase there is a difference between having drills ON THEIR SIDE OF THE BORDER and firing missiles across hte border. Placing ANY blame on South Korea is deflecting blame from where it belongs.
But there aer some bitches, like yourself and olli_baba who feel the need to always take the wrong side just to be paid attention to, if only for a few seconds.
seriously? come on now, you don't HAVE to insult obama every chance you get. this has nothing to do with him at all, now you're just acting like an ass.
they have these drills every year. there's nothing in the armistice that says they can't do that. Not to mention its not like they just decided to do some drills, everyone knew about it. North Korea is just trying to provoke an attack again. THEY'RE the bad guys.
By the way, doesn't North Korea pull every November such a stunt? Last year there was the naval skirmish and in Nov 2008 they closed the land border and suspended the train service to the south.
Winter is approaching fast in NK, so once again they try to force the rest of the world to send them food and oil.

I understand your point but you can't seriously defend North Korea. That's like defending Hitler, or satan, or North Kor.. oh wait.
hurrayforschoolNov 23, 2010Buried
There's been a ceasefire for over 50 years; technically the Korean War never officially ended.

More should have been done after the North sank that sub back in March.

We need to decide a winner by a good ol' SC2 competition.
whoever loses, disbands their country.

Somebody needs to drop a bomb on the Dear Leader's house.
This is getting embarrasing for China.

very unlikely, the north likes the status quo. all out war means they cease to exist.

Until North Korea deploys stim concussion Marauders.
Oh who am I kidding, regular Marauders will do just fine.
