Thank God for our police offers, protecting our communities, setting great examples for everyday citizens and for showing compassion when it is called for. RIP Officer Henwood.
It really irritates me how man diggers here love to vilify these men and women. They put their lives on the line for very little money to help and protect strangers. It takes a special kind of person to willingly do that.
Some cops do horrible things that aren't excused by them being police officers. You seem pretty intelligent Norman you must understand this. That's another topic though.
This is just sad though, for sure. War veteran police officer shot down by some thug, I'm guessing. It's a shame.
My dad is a police officer and i plan to follow in his footsteps. I wish everybody would stop and think before they called cops pigs and say things like "f**k the police" just because of a few horrible officers. 9 out of 10 are amazing people just like this officer and my dad and all i ever see on this website are videos of police brutality and comments talking about how horrible they are. My dad does it because he wants to help people, not for the power, but people hate him before they even know him because of the badge he wears.

He doesn't know that it is unrealistic but that's what being a kid is about, getting to have dreams. You have something wrong with you that you would laugh at that. You should really seek counseling.

i've been arrested 3 times and been cuffed a few more then let go. in 1994 a cop saved me from an intruder during a home invasion. hate/change the law, love the person just doing the job.
