I am one of the "data hogs" who got a bandwidth-throttling notice. What I did to earn this: I used iCloud to stream music in my car for about an hour total per day, five days a week. That makes me a data hog? I don't think so. In fact it's using the phones they are selling as intended. But it just so happens that I have an older unlimited-data plan. So clearly the purpose is to force me into a more-profitable, more expensive new plan. f**k AT&T.

I don't care. AT&T sucks and I'll never use them as my carrier again. I highly recommend that others do the same. Lowest rated in customer service, lowest rated in overall quality of service, lowest rated in customer satisfaction. Need I say more?

Their spectrum claims were just an excuse for acquiring T-mobile. Now they don't need that anymore, because they can't acquire T-mo. I thought this was obvious?

They are definitely trying to push people out of the old unlimited plan. I have three iPhones that are still under the unlimited plan, but those phones don't really use much data (mostly just wi-fi) so I haven't gotten any messages.
