You're too late! Already moved over to Reddit and I can honestly say I regret not having done it sooner. There's a real sense of community - comments are longer and more plentiful. Not only that, but it can be customized to a ridiculous extent. Instead of just the basic categories, I've subscribed to specific subreddits that appeal to me.
I know I sound like an ad, but... Guys, if you haven't tried Reddit yet, you definitely should. If you still prefer Digg, that's your preference. Don't let me stop you. But I honestly think the majority of people here would prefer Reddit for one reason or another.
WTF is this?? It does not even lead to news but a summary of the weeks events at ReadWriteWeb. Plus they advertise their iPhone App... f**k off ReadWriteWeb.
You'll note that almost *all* comments are not about the article itself but about how terrible the new version of the site is. I noticed that on another article about Katy Perry that any comments about the actual subject were quickly buried. Awesome.
I would also be interested to see how many users are still digging / commenting on articles compared to this time last week?! I refuse to Digg another article (not that I can find anything that is Digg worthy these days), and once this whole s**tfight blows over I doubt I will be commenting on digg either...
I never thought I'd say it, since I've been loyal to Digg ever since I first discovered it back in 2006, but I'm heading to Reddit. Probably permanently, unless by some miracle this site is restored to its former glory. Bye.
Pride comes before the fall. This new version of dig requires you to follow corporations pages and have a facebook lackey to do much of anything. This accounts deleted as well. Have fun being a shill.

FTA: "I think Digg 4 is going to win over more than it turns off in the end."
Too bad I can't bury for inaccuracy.

With V4 out, I really get a lot done at work now

"Digg 4 Takes a Dive". Best headline to make the Digg FP in a while.

Join us at reddit. People still have power there. Corporate shilling is still a no go there.

If Digg breaks an axle and there are no users left to see it, does it make a noise?

I refuse to use facebook or connect anything on-line.
I prefer my anonymity.

Reddit's take on Conde Nast for the prop 19/advertisement issue was an awesome thing to see.
On Digg: caving to corporate overlords.
On Reddit: Standing up to corporate overlords.
Reddit wins.
