Little known fact, the Budget for space launch capabilities for the Air Force is nearly half that of the entire NASA budget which has many other mandates. (8 Billion to 19 Billion) Sad really.
What does this have to do with Osama? Are you 12? You have no idea how this happened, do you? Why don't you do some reading on the subject and report back to me how Osama is the reason this happened.
The Shuttle program should have been shut down years ago with a better alternative. Something similar to SS1. Why have something as big as the Shuttle to put people in space? Yes I realize they also took up cargo, but the Russians and others already have heavy lift rockets to do just that.
