Since the new digg really wants to hide you and your submission from myself and others (unless we follow you), I will join you in the effort of posting links to this image on random articles. I pray this post makes it to the front page.
Okay, here is a list about what I hate about the new Digg:
* The new design is a mix between facebook and twitter.
* It's ridiculously hard and confusing to navigate.
* Removed most of the important functions which most of the Digg users used. The bury and block button is gone.
* Removed the upcoming stories section.
* The edit-timer for comments has been heavily reduced (from 5 minutes to about 90 seconds).
* The New Digg has made it so that the big media outlets can automatically submit their own stories through RSS-feeds. This means that there is actually no need for Digg users to submit interesting stories because every story will most likely already have been submitted. This also means that the power users will also have even more power than before.
* The new Digg favors sharing stories with friends through twitter and facebook. I don't care about sharing stories/articles with my friends and they don't care either. I hate Facebook and I'll most likely never use Twitter.
* I'm more or less forced to "follow" different people or big corporate media outlets through the new Digg. I'm not interested in that. I want to digg my own stuff which I find interesting.
* The "My Stories" section is full of useless spam ridden and uninteresting stories which are only a nuisance. Also taking me automatically to the "my stories" section when I enter Digg is just tedious and stupid.
* Where are all my saved favorites? I had a ton of important, interesting and fun stories/articles/videos I had saved up for later use. Now they are gone!
* It's extremely hard to look up your own comments or submissions. I even forgot that I had posted a comment in a story because I could never find it again.
* The comment system is broken beyond belief. It's pure chaos to say the least. And where the hell are the timestamps on the comments?
* Removed the thumbs up/down for generic arrows? Come on!
* I want to be able to configure my privacy and profile like before. Now everything is just an open mess for everyone to see.
* It's buggy as hell (I know that they're going to fix it sooner or later, but yeah, you got my point)..
Sorry, but the new Digg is pure garbage compared to the old Digg.

Where the hell are my old comments, how am I supposed to see if someone replied to me or not?

I want my thumbs up & thumbs down buttons back.
I want my profile to be both readable & usable so I can see comment replies.

The most damning thing I left out of that comment (only because I just now noticed it) is that almost all existing comments have been deleted. Google search for any story more than a few months old, preferably one you commented on. Either there will be zero comments, or they will be mostly spam. For example, the awesome "Digg Tank" thread is almost totally empty:

I'm guessing that ~90% of those contributions are now gone. Same goes for every other user. Everything you've ever contributed to Digg has been tossed into the trash. Shows how much they care about you.
For the first time since switching to digg from Fark.com years ago for my social news fix, I am wondering what other options are out there. Maybe I'll even give reddit another shot (hated it the first time, but hey, I hate this new digg). I realize that it's commonplace for users to hate change every time a website overhauls itself, I remember when the last version of digg came to be, how everyone bitched and moaned about that.
But this is a huge change, basically changing entirely what the site was. And as such, it no longer meets my needs. If I wanted to follow sites, I'd go to those sites. Or I'd set it up on my google home page. Or I'd use an RSS feed. That wasn't what digg was. It was supposed to be a place where people showed you the crazy interesting things on the internet that you might miss by only going to your usual familiar sites.
That's gone.
If digg still works for you, that's great. And I realize that it's just a website. I have to only click a few buttons and I'm somewhere else.
Hopefully others will realize the same.
And maybe when digg realizes we're all gone, they'll understand why.
I don't follow anyone, so 'My News' is useless. If I want Facebook, I'll go to Facebook.
I follow *topics* with the search engine. I WAS able to search by key word, sort by newest first, and click on relevent stories in the last 24 hours. That includes a search by web site; the URL was included in the search results.
Now the search engine is busted. Search for say, "Canada", and sort by most recent (or filter by 'Last Day'), and you'll get randomly chosen stories from over the last month. And you can't SEE that the "Last Day" stories are 20 days old, because the date stamp has been removed from the list. You have to load each story to see if they're upcoming vs weeks old.
And the URL is no longer searched. If I wanted to see what the birthers or truthers have their tinfoil hats in a knot over, I could search on "wnd" or "infowars". Those searches no longer return results for wnd.com or infowars.com.
I want my user controls back.
