I wonder how different this would look today because of the economy. Clark county NV and Maricopa county AZ have massive in migration but their hosing markets have been pretty destroyed over past couple years.
I'm only questioning who in the hell are those people that represent that black line that are moving into Detroit from somewhere along the Virginia coast line.

I live in Dallas and I totally agree. I've met a TON of people that have recently moved here from California.

princednaJul 29, 2010Buried
So being rather bored I was looking for the counties with the most red lines and most black lines.
Outward (Red Lines) was easily Detroit
Inward (Black Lines)
was.... wait what? Orleans Parlsh, Louisiana? Why would someone want to move to New Orleans for god sake.

Check out all the red lines going from Manhattan to Florida. Old people are funny.

Gotta love those places in Nebraska where nobody seems to move to anywhere else.

The black line meaning inward traffic for Detroit. There is running between Virginia Beach and Detroit.
IDK who in there right mind would move to Detroit but that line means people are.
