The difference being that those evangelists dont test their "casting out devils" skills against atheists in an "unfriendly" environment. The power of God is a POWERFUL THING....we have "seen" Him cure cancer, blindness, make a person in a wheelchair walk again. Why is growing back an amputated limb any harder than that? Sure would sway my beliefs more being able to SEE the "healing" going on just once.
Yup, Aikido is pretty useless in a real fighting situation. There are some things that you can do to redirect your opponent's energy and keep them away from you but if they're moderately experienced and really coming at you you're probably going to end up on the ground, either grappling or knocked the f**k out or both.
I don't really know if Aikido is a good martial arts if another person is doing Karate on you. I never told anyone that I knew Aikido. I found learning about it was fun. But I didn't think about using it to hurt anyone. Aikido is more of using another persons power against them. Karate is afflicting power over someone else. It's very different. Aikido is very dangerous, because when you're flipping someone you don't know how they are going to land. They can brake their neck.

I never would have thought I would have enjoyed a video of an old man getting his ass kicked...

No different than those evangelical Christian meetings where they cast out spirits and the like. It's the same bulls**t, slightly different flavor.

This is really an article about BJJ.
With that said, anyone who wants to see the efficacy of BJJ need only google one name. Gracie.
BJJ is devastating. There is nothing like your first realization you can defend yourself with your attacker's leather jacket [collar choke].

No different from the Goracle's illusion of global warming, now thoroughly debunked by science itself.
