Technically the title is a bit off. We've been making and trapping antimatter for quite a while. The difference here is that they've trapped (for more than a few microseconds) anti-hydrogen.
So a more apt title would have been "Antihydrogen Trapped for the first time".
If he was commenting on an article about grammar your point might hold a little weight, but he's not. Shut the f**k up grammar nazi. He's providing relevant information to a science article.
If he was joking than the misunderstanding isn't my fault. When sarcasm isn't obvious through word choice you need to use emotes.
Even if it was a joke, it wasn't a very clever or funny one. I have a sense of humor, but I hate grammar nazis that critique people for not being english professors. I mean, by all means if someone types like they are texting Paris Hilton tell them to grow up and make what they legible, but nitpicking is annoying. No one likes a nitpicker.
wow, I feel bad for your sister she is now misinformed. Regular matter is composed of protons, neutrons, and electrons. These each carry a magnetic charge. Protons are positively charged, neutrons are neutral, and electrons are negatively charged. Anti-matter is the same as regular matter except that the charges are reversed.
Here, they were able to capture anti-hydrogen. Regular hydrogen is composed of one proton and one electron which has an overall neutral charge. A hydrogen ion is hydrogen without the electron and has a positive charge. The anti-hydrogen ion they were able to capture is just one proton with a negative charge. It is not the "nothing" in "The Never Ending Story".
black holes can come in many sizes, micro black holes are even theorized to exist. these are the kind that people were/are freaking about over the new collider. thing is they only have as much attraction as their mass which would be just about nothing so they would evaporate off.
