Based on the vote totals in the recalls last year, Walker will not get nearly as many votes as he got when he got elected on a pack of lies.
Buyer's remorse is high.

**THIS** is what democracy looks like!

Correction: If you lose an election that was won based on a pack of blatant lies, recall the guy.

Who ever said democracy is cheap?

I'm delighted. I don't think they'll be able to jimmy the outcome now by 'invalidating' a certain number of petitions.
I wonder how Walker feels, being so disliked by so many? It may not be enough to win but for him to realize how many people were so motivated to sign must be worrisome.

you apparently have no clue what you are talking about...I work for the University of Wisconsin Hospital where he removed my union completely and took half my pension. By the way the way my employer is owned by the state but does not affect state budget. We are technically a separate entity from the state. Half of my pension is gone without affecting state budget....care to explain how making these changes will effect the bottom line on the budget. So yes he did eliminate my union for me, oh another fact for you... the University of Wisconsin hospital had 94 million in profit last year. This is supposed to be a non-profit organization. The members of my union did not get a raise , while everyone else got a 2.5% raise. On top of that raise management got a bonus. I had a boss that quit and got a check for $4,000 several months after he quit.

The Milwaukee Journal Sentinnel is reporting that they have collected almost the same number of signatures as Walker's vote count in 2010.

what would a conservative know about this? You guys are the ones making up all sorts of stories about "election fraud" to justify attacking democracy in the first place.

Just because someone was voted in, does not mean we should be stuck with him if he's ruling authoritarian-style and not on what he campaigned for. Recalls are in their State Constitution. It's Wisconsin's right.

Actually, the Recall Volunteers have already been entering to check...
roguegeniusJan 18, 2012Buried
Amazing. And yet... ALL the Minnesota signatures don't count because the state we are talking about is Wisconsin!!

Compare Walker's campaign rhetoric to his post-election initiatives. The ugly truth of Walker's disgrace is readily apparent in the information age.

it's gotten way to expensive. The result being that many people that don't have the money and have the ideas and passion for politics are being forced out the process. That or they are forced to shelf their ambitions and good ideas for corporate campaign cash

Care to explain how I'm better off without the union when non union employees got a raise yet we didn't? First and foremost I didn't give away any of my paycheck, it was taken from me. 2ndly i Never said i was paid poorly. 3rdly My empolyer is now threatening to make me salary instead of hourly when we are set to replace all of our network gear. This means working nights and weekends and 50+ hours week. How would you feel if you were required to be salaried at 40 hours a week yet expected to work more? It's not only a problem with my workplace, but i've seen it with my friends. Businesses increase the workload and they dump it on their existing staff. When is enough enough. Do you want to work 50 hour weeks just because you have job? And more importantly do you think that is right?

Unions weren't fighting for power, they were fighting for the lawful right to existence.
Let us know when the U.S. Chamber of Commerce or any trade group faces the same existential threat. Until then, unions have as much right to exist as corporate trade groups.

He is being LEGALLY and VALIDLY put up for recall.
But because you don't agree, you cry?
kingnovaJan 17, 2012Buried
proof? I can provide proof of Republicans going to jail for voter FRAUD. Not registration fraud. Voter fraud.
Will that change your mind, or are you a hopeless partisan shill?
/rhetorical question.

I believe that since this was grassroots, the volunteers will make certain everything is correct. TOO much riding on this to allow the GOP to screw with them or to allow over zealous fools to screw with the results.
upnorthgirlJan 18, 2012Buried
Why dont talk to Walker. He's in NY today with with AIG sponsoring his fundraiser
roguegeniusJan 17, 2012Buried
You mean like Bush? Who lost both his elections?
