Definition of damned if you do, damned if you don't!

He was against the Supreme Court ruling that allowed these Super PACs and even said so in his SOTU speech and pissed off Chief Justice Roberts. Remember how all the conservatives said how he shouldn't be against their ruling, blah, blah, blah. Now that he has to play the game because of this rule change, he is the bad guy?

It was pretty obvious that Mitt won Florida because he spent 5 times what Newt did and way more than everyone else. You can have your principles but the name of the game here is wining. How do you expect Obama to win without money? This is what he was warning everyone about in that speech.

We have to get this money out of the system. No one can be pure if they have to whore themselves out to the highest bidder. Most of Obama's money came from < $200 donations, in the last election. That ain't gonna cut it this time.

Hasn't anyone learned anything from what Colbert and Stewart were doing with their Super PAC? This is f**king insanity and it takes insane - scorched earth methods to do anything. Look at what a spectacle the current conservative primary is.

How is this a surprise to anyone who has been paying attention and has a f**king brain stem?

no, it's only bad when obama does something.

you dont hear the RWNJ shills denouncing any of the other candidates that they are too embarrassed to admit to supporting even though they do the same thing and have been for years.

but as soon as obama mentions it, it is now the downfall of american society, since they're a bunch of flailing drama queens that need to distract from how pathetic their candidates are.

A VERY large amount of Obama's 2012 campaign finance has been from small-contributions from individuals.

In fact:

Individual Contributions $124,333,258 (99%)
- Small Individual Contributions 58,498,953 (47%)
- Large Individual Contributions 67,663,667 (54%)

http://www.opensecrets.org/pres12/candidate.php?id=N00009638#bli

So nearly half of his campaign amount has come from SMALL >INDIVIDUAL< contributions vs, say, Mitt Romney who has seen 91% of HIS campaign be financed by LARGE individual contributions

- Large Individual Contributions 51,119,391 (91%)

Obama is being supported by a MIX of people and classes. No average American wants to support Mitt. I suppose a garage door installer never had the necessary academia research experience to provide PROOF of claims (aka citations), right?

We don't live in a democracy, never have and never will. Our nation is first a republic, a nation of law, but practically a plutocracy, government by the wealthy, in the form of special interest groups. The apologists for a plutocracy claim that all are represented by special interest groups to which they belong and support. Given the funds available to the very wealthy, that's a farce.

Boo hoo hoo, the mean ol' President won't let the Repulitards walk around with a big gun unchallenged. Well, tough. Our President has a big one swinging, and all the crying about it from the other side is just as sad as it can be. Two for me, one for you, tough luck.

I didn't know Obama is a republican, but he is pretty conservative.

The sad fact is the repukes have made money the be all end all of politics. Until we have public financing, Pres O will have to play the game to fight against the right wing, a sad truth but one that can not be avoided.
