I sure hope he is released, and soon.

I'm happy to hear that Shalit is finally being released. It's sad that Hamas will get more killers back in exchange for his freedom which will embolden them to do this again since it seems to pay off for them. Shalit will no doubt go home and live a peaceful life. The Hamas scum that are being released will be back in Israel in no time wearing bomb vests. That's what Israel is dealing with.

They burrowed like rats into a peaceful country. Killed two soldiers and kidnapped Shalit. That's a war crime.
They held him incommunicado for years. Another war crime.

You're a fake phony. You keep saying you don't "condone violence." But you condemn Israel for defending itself.

If the stinking Hamasniks would stop attacking Israel there would BE no violence.

And stop saying the "Palestinians" were dispossessed. That's not a fact.

The stinking Gazans CHOSE Hamas. The stinking Gazans come out and fill the streets for Hamas rallies and wave their stinking green banners. They are not innocent. And Israel has a right to defend itself from cowardly stinking jihadis borrow like rats into Israel and kidnap a citizen.

PS The stinking Gazans are STILL launching rockets into Israel. Each rocket is a war crime. And Israel has the moral right to do ANYTHING to make them stop.

I will be incredibly surprised if he come back alive and they aren't negotiating for a mutilated corpse in a coffin.

Just a few years ago the stinking Hezbollahs, with the assistance of the stinking UN "peacekeepers" kidnapped three IDF soldiers. Killed them. And trade their bodies for several hundred live terrorist jihadis.

How many failed suicide bombers is he worth? Hopefully Israel surprises them by giving them fully loaded body bags.

I know. They've done it before.

Abducted? His kidnapping was a war crime. Israel should just flatten a building in Gaza every day until he's released.

Israel should just murder innocent women and children until he's released.

Fixed that for you.

Fighting war crime with war crime. Nice strategy there, General.

Both sides should step-up and release all prisoners. start over.

That's moronic. Kidnapping soldiers and holding them is not equivalent to capturing people planting bombs or attempting to harm others.

Spoken like a true totalitarian.

"And Israel has the moral right to do ANYTHING to make them stop"

Do they have the right to drop burning phosphorus on women and children? Because I'm pretty sure that's a documented war crime.

I don't begrudge the Jewish people a homeland. But it seems to come at the expense of a significant group of people who were dispossessed - similar to the Indians of America. And like those groups in America, they are shunted onto a reservation.

I've been to the Holy City of Yerushalayim and I have partied in Tel Aviv. I have no problem with the Israeli people. But to hear the disgusting, rabid, completely undignified way in which you describe an entire group of people makes me sick to my stomach. I have no idea if you are Israeli or even a Jew and it really doesn't matter.

You think the sword is the way but it is cutting both sides, my ignorant friend. War crimes do not excuse war crimes. Until an equitable solution is reached, there will never be peace, and there will never be peace without compromise.

And for the record, though I do not in any way condone violence, Staff Sergeant Shalit was an active duty member of the IDF manning a border crossing in Gaza. You make it sound like they grabbed him out of a mall in Neve Tzedek. Another embarrassing hyperbole in your truly f**ked up rant.

Israel has a moral duty to seek peace and a moral obligation to make amends for its own portion of this clusterf**k, much in the way that the Palestinians have that same duty and moral obligation to stop rocket attacks and defund Hamas, and stop doing Iran's dirty work. Without both of these things happening, I don't see a way forward, especially when (some) people are so f**king full of hate.
