This is not a "Banned Discovery Channel Documentary" it was produced by Yorkshire Television in England that was bought by ITV and during that merger I am sure a lot of documentary were thrown out or taped over.
Pedophillia is a serious and devastating problem, but....
This documentary is pathetic. The FBI isn't involved in a massive coverup. The film wasn't "BANNED" by the discovery channel. They just don't want to air libelous unsupported crap.
Authoritarian governments are destined for eventually failure due to corruption. Absolute power corrupts absolutely, and that's what authoritarian government is all about, power.
say what you will about the documentary, but do your own research. This is some scary s**t. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Conspiracy_of_Silence_(documentary)
there is no way that with that much smoke: New York Times, Washington Times, Associated Press, etc...there isn't a fire.
Wow people really think the kids who were abused were lying about it. The lawyer and the film maker were just making all this s**t up, to like, make piles of money on a documentary right? Maybe the documentary wasn't actually BANNED, but if you say that everything in the Doc is BS then you either didn't watch it or you're a moron.
I think it's pretty clear that some kids were abused horribly and justice was not served. However, I remember the male prostitution ring bust and there is absolutely nothing to tie that to what went on in Nebraska. Also, a few testimonies are simply not enough to convict anyone of a crime. Where is the physical evidence to corroborate? If there isn't a fair amount of it, then however much one believes it, there just can't be a conviction. Was there a cover up? I don't know. I do know that if the FBI can't find physical evidence of anything, then they are not going to go far with an investigation.
Its about time Diggers started digging up these types of story. People need to know about how bad things really are out there and we need to use our position to highlight it.
Every f**king article that I see on digg that somewhat relates to politics has these three comments:
"Our government is completely and wholly corrupt."
"Absolute power corrupts absolutely, and that's what authoritarian government is all about, power."
"It's Republicans who are committing the crimes and doing the lying, you know, kind of like it still is today."
It almost sounds like you're trolling. You honestly sound like douches. It reminds me of the Family Guy episode with Rush Limbaugh where Brian says he hates Rush. Rush asks, "Have you ever actually read anything that I've wrote?" and Brain goes, "No, but I've read what people have wrote about the things you've wrote and I don't like it one bit"

So "banned by Discovery channel" really boils down to "We didn't make or licence this, so we will not be showing it on our networks"

Not surprised at all. Our government is completely and wholly corrupt. It will not change either.

Why would they ban this? Why not let it play and let the public voice their opinions? Way to much censorship these days.
