Imagine if NASA got that kind of money we'd be colonizing the solar system right now.

So much money that's just wasted on killing, we could have made Earth a much better place.

No money to return to the Moon, to explore Mars, or to even build a Shuttle replacement we so desperately need. We can sure afford to kill people, though.

When you have a government that is warmongering and has a strong desire to control the worlds oil supply. They could care less how much it costs. They dont care that schools are closing and teachers are being laid off. They dont care about unemployment, the sick, or the elderly. All they care about is thier goals not matter what the sacrifice or the cost.

But's it socialism to expect the American gov't to provide its own people with even adequate schools, roads, and healthcare.

When our economy collapses thats when other countries will want the US to pay back what they owe them. That will bring the United States to its knees. The US has made so many enemies that in time they all team up and f**k US up. I hate to say it but its going to happen.

The wars were a means to the end. Those powers that have lobbied for and coerced the once sovereign US government for these actions are laughing. Their tool, the US, has done it's work, and it is more obedient than ever.

The money supply of the foreign money masters is theoretically infinite. It is only when the US insists on an independent foreign policy, that they will be crushed; the debts will be called in.

As Thomas Jefferson said, his greatest accomplishment was in getting rid of the central bankers.

War is simply stealing from the poor to give to the rich.

It's funny how it's "overspending" to give people medical coverage, insure they have money in their pockets for food (during times of unemployment), and food stamps to help with families who simply aren't making enough money...but yet it's acceptable to fight for "freedom" in countries where our own freedoms are not on the line whatsoever.

Yes, all of the problems with this country can be directly attributed to "socialist, lazy pigs" and not all of the warmongering we've been doing for the past few decades.

tl;dr: people < bombz lol

It's amazing that some people still don't see the motives behind all these wars. Some people still believe they're fighting the terrorists.

Only one question: how could we get it so wrong? Bush and co fired a general who predicted that the Iraqi long-term costs could surpass $200 billion. It must have hurt Bush's feelings, but even that General's loftiest predictions pale compared to the truth.

Here's a link that says that the wars since 9/11 are costing $4.4 Trillion.
