Wait, so this guy feels that he can go around and tape people with hidden cameras, but he won't allow anyone to tape him with in-view cameras?
This is what the tea party considers acceptable? Only SOME people have the right to privacy, eh? I would love to hear this O'Keefe's response to the question: If it's good for the goose, why isn't it good for the gander?
Sadly I can almost bet money that he's just a coward.
"In 2009, member stations derived 6% of their revenue from direct government funding, 10% of their revenue from federal funding in the form of CPB grants, and 14% of their revenue from universities.[14][15] NPR receives no direct funding from the federal government.[16] About 1.5% of NPR's revenues come from Corporation for Public Broadcasting grants."
Or he takes hours of video and cuts it down to 5 min of lies and out of context statements.
He's a troll of the worst kind which is why he is so popular with the teapublicans.
So thats what that picture of him leaving jail is about.
""""""James O'Keefe speaks with the media while getting into a taxi cab after being released from the St. Bernard Parish jail in Chalmette, La., Tuesday, Jan. 26, 2010. O'Keefe, a conservative activist who posed as a pimp to target the community-organizing group ACORN, is one of four people arrested by the FBI and accused of trying to interfere with phones at Sen. Mary Landrieu's office in New Orleans."""""""
2) Anon doesn't like to give out their addresses because much of what they do is illegal.
3) No one in that vid was trying to do what O'Keefe did, which is secretly tape his speech. The camera man had a camera in plain sight, O'Keefe sneaks around and uses hidden camera, false identities (posing as a pimp for example), and other sneaky tactics. What he's blocking is totally different from what he does.
How has anything you have said refute the hypocrisy in the story?
Do you not see the irony of a man who has built his career secretly videotaping people, doesn't want to be openly video taped?
O'keefe is afraid someone might do to him what does to others: take video, heavily edit it and use selected things out of context, then use that to paint an elaborate picture of misdeeds to deliberately smear and attack.

Because a master of video manipulation knows how truly frightful videotape can be.

How can anybody defend this piece of s**t?

I have no idea what Assange or Anonymous have to do with this article. It makes no sense. I see no connection.
chilidogsMar 19, 2011Buried
For reals, I don't seen any connection between assange and okeefe. I also don't see assange as particularly partisan unlike okeefe.
chilidogsMar 19, 2011Buried
Examples of what? What is the connection?
