Are we fighting The Man like the end of Independence Day with the telegraphs?
IIRC, a large parchment (unfolded newspaper sized*) holds about 10kB of text. Why not be 10% more anachronistic and say 9000 pages of parchment? 9000 Magna Cartas, has thou, you knave!
*I refuse to cheat by looking it up, but I think newspapers are the size they are because in the good old days, when parchment was the skin off a sheep's back, that's the size you could reliably get that didn't have leg holes or the butt or nipples or whatever that you didn't want to run into while reading your Biblical passages or whatever.
If you think 28k modems are old.... well, I worked in a commercial environment where 9600 baud modems were used - and jobs were loaded with punch cards. Before that I worked at an aircraft manufacturer where we punched 1000's of punch cards every single night, and sorted them - oh, and those good old belt printers!

I wonder if switching to magnets will files inherit the same problems like the ones from the Gnutella networks? Like malware and bad files.
