My cat saved me from a fire too! I had left a pot on the stove and fallen asleep - once the water evaporated the pot basically just melted from the heat and the food inside caught fire. My cat was on my chest basically punching me in the face until I woke up.
Not long ago I was asleep and my house was attacked by terrorists. My cats Miss Kitty and Moe saved my life by defending the house with a M240 and grenades. After all the terrorists were killed they dragged the bodies into the house and left them as presents.
"He would climb into bed and take his paw and drag it down my left side -- he was adamant there was something there," - he said.
"And it was right where the cancer was."
That cat that took on those pit bulls is like some 80s action character...he had put his life as a stray behind him, found a life with a loving family who didn't really understand him - didn't understand his demons. Then one day some thugs tried to take it all away and his training kicked in. The family was grateful they had taken him in, and even though they could never get inside his shell, at least now they understood him.
My uncle's cat saved him when his house caught on fire this past spring. He woke up to the cat walking on him and basically foaming at the mouth. He got out with the cat and his pants.
I know exactly what you mean by what you typed out but I'm going to read it like your uncle was foaming at the mouth and that the cat owned a pair of pants.

Every fire story where the cat was waking the owner:
Cat (meowing): "GET ME THE f**k OUT OF HERE!!!!"

Cats don't get enough credit.

My cat seems to have secured an unlimited line of credit.

My cat would be just as likely to start the fire as he would be to wake me up during one.

I like the part where the cats drag in the terrorists as presents.

Cats have retractable claws.
Their tongues and their dicks have barbs.
Now what?

Sadly, none of the owners killed by their cat could be reached for comment.
