The opened up Red Panda Village almost 3 yrs ago at the Knoxville Zoo and it is one of our favorites (next to the river otters)! :) They have 6 adult red pandas and they are adorable and so much fun to watch. It's really neat to know they roamed the TN forests.
Red Pandas are not directly related to the B & W pandas. I don't know why the called them cousins. Even later in the article they point out the lack of relation.
You know why UTK's color is orange? So that you can go to the game on Saturday, hunting on Sunday and work construction on Monday without changing clothes.
