There is a narrow window to act on this, otherwise you'll end up in "friend zone" forever. I got burned on this probably 3 times, strangely losing these women all 3 times to my other male friends.
You want to be gentlemanly to not risk the friendship, but in the end you'll f**k it up anyway eventually - so why not go for it?
