You mean you don't know about the UK/US war in the 60s?
It doesn't seem to be reported by the mainstream media, but in the 60s, the UK declared war on the US. Unfortunately, owing to a slight design flaw our initial nuclear volley missed its target and ended up in the desert. Shortly after, our leaders managed to resolve their differences peacefully, and a further nuclear exchange was unnecessary.
Under the terms of the peace treaty, England had to agree within 50 years to allow the US to win, or a at least draw a World Cup game.
Why did Britain detonate nuclear bombs over US soil? Was there some sort of development and engineering agreement that was signed between Britain and the US so that Britain could have top notch nuclear weapons?
I thought I was seeing things due to the explosions but I am pretty sure by 1970 there were 4 British detonations in the US deserts.

Every time a nuclear bomb is tested the mayor of Hiroshima sends a letter to the ambassadors of that country pleading to stop.
You can see these letters about half way down here: http://www.michaeljohngrist.com/2010/04/hiroshima-a-bomb-dome/

Very long but truly amazing video! There have been more than 2000 nuclear Kaa-booms! all over the planet already...

"Britain and France basically used their colonies for nuke testing. That is really sad"
Nuclear testing over the British Isles probably wouldn't be such a smart move.

Interesting video, seems like the arms race was all about who can make the most explosions.
