Taco Bell if the following conditions are met: You have little money, you want something resembling mexican food, you want something you can hold in your hand, you have a hankering for Baja Blast Mountain Dew, and, if you're willing to suffer the consequences that will come later via your bowels.
Denny's or Shari's if: you want to sit down and spend all night talking about s**t, and using their toilets, have sufficient cash, and are all too tanked to drive any further than to the restaurant without sufficient risk of arrest, and lastly, are prepared to possibly have to pork down some gawd awful food from the late night crew.
At lest with Taco Bell, the late night crew is expecting a wave of drunks and stoners, so they make sure they serve the crowd right to keep them coming back, even if it means the s**ts in the morning.
For us Whataburger was the only place open when the bars closed. Come to think of it I've never eaten there sober. Probably couldn't stomach the food sober.
