Awesome! I need to go back soon and play the Borg invasion of the Defera. I haven't played that yet. I also need to finish the Borg episodes.

The Bor(in)g invasion of Defera is a pointless grind with no real story. Have fun trying to craft a new remodulator that only takes three seconds to apply instead of four seconds with the old one. Also, implants can be dropped and equipped by your captain. They suck.

I am getting a gaming of soon, to play mmo games. I want this but I also like the old republic. Choices choices.

STO has space combat that's fun though and isn't on rails.

STO is free, SWTOR costs 60 bucks...

"STO is free, SWTOR costs 60 bucks..." + $15 a month And STO has micro-transactions IF you ever want to buy something

I kind of like microtransactions, when you buy something, it feels more tangible, you usually get something for it, a new ship, bridge officers, etc.... Not like throwing 15 dollars into an endless pool.

You get what you pay for. When I think that I actually paid to play star trek online... i see a few fan boys here actually daring to suggest that star trek online is even remotely close to TOR. Ya its free but it f**king sucks
WoW level grinding + repeated StarFox missions + very brief Mass Effect conversations + $15 a month -vs- A free-to-play game that gives me the starship combat that I have wanted since playing Star Trek 25th Anniversary Edition. Im not out any money and i get enjoyment out of it The on ground missions are not very good or involving, but they are brief and get you right back into space combat anyway, so no harm no foul STO and SWTOR are vastly different games, but for me, STO is more enjoyable
