So what she was smoking is not illegal, she has violated no laws, and she is a teenager experimenting in life? I'm sorry, there is a story in here someplace?
For the moment. We all remember Lindsay Lohan, Britany Spears. She has that cute lolita bad girl thing going. Someone will come by in a year or two to replace her when she starts to look like a used up bagel.
I hate experts who have no experience with what they are talking about. There are not kids out there doing tons of salvia hits in a row because the experience is short, if anything probably at least 3/4 of everyone who tries it probably doesn't try it again.
God forbid parents actually take responsibility for their own kids. No, rather they pick some 18 year old girl on the TV to be their kids role model and then get up in arms when said 18 year old girl starts actiling like an 18 year old girl.
Ya. "Salvia gives you a short, but very intense high, leaving many people wanting to do it again and again because the high doesn't last long."
Clearly he's never done salvia. It's like an acid trip in ten minutes, I waited a full year before trying it again after my first time, and most people wait a while too. It's not exactly a 'party' drug.
Leave the kid alone, if she wants to trip on Salvia (which is only legal because nobody f**king does it in recreation, it's always a horrifying trip), let her.
That is not true, that nobody does it it recreation. While I never have, lots of the smoke shops around my neighborhood (So Cal) proudly advertise that they sell it, and plenty of my friends have smoked it.
she is legally an adult, and unlike most 18 year old people, she has the ability to be financially independent from her parents.
she is an adult and ultimately has the final say over all of her actions at this point. if her parents don't like it and push too hard, she has every right to leave.
It's a shame that all we're going to get from this is apologies and shaming, instead of what should happen: A determined defense of her right to ingest whatever the f**k she wants. Looked like she wasn't hurting anyone, or doing anything immoral at all, to me.

I volunteer to give her a good spanking

I've got her "hard love" right here.

Uh, dude...she's 18. It's kind of too late for tough love parenting. She's already an adult. Let her smoke her bong and be done with it.

I'd go with adult instead of teenager to further drive your point home
