I once asked a Guitar Center employee, in the midst of a few 13 year-olds in the drumming section, "Does this ever get easier?" - "Once you lose your hearing, yeah."
if you frequent a music store and actually spend money there, they tend to not mind as much. Hell I had the owner of the shop I go to throw a terrible kid off an amp because I was waiting to try it out. He said something like "Move it kid, this guy actually buys s**t". Made my day.
I think we can all admit It's a s**tty job. It's a good thing these guys have a good sense of humor.
... but what the hell is someone supposed to do? If I'm trying out a new amp I'm going to want to hear what it sounds like at all levels. Any good guitarist knows an amp can sound totally different at 0-2 than 2-5 and so on. If I'm spending $1000+ on a semi decent I'm going to crank it up. Sorry, Mr."Clerk". Oh yeah, and hand me a Boss overdrive pedal, a phaser and your filthiest fuzz.

From IMDB: The "Stairway to Heaven" guitar riff was changed for the international, cable, and videotape releases to a generic riff because of disputes in obtaining rights to the first five notes of the song, which appear only in the US theatrical release.

What is a music store? Is this where mp3's are made?

I am shocked to see a music store employee with a pony-tail and beard.

I just figured they were always upset because they themselves were failed musicians.
