if you are a guy dressing up like a lady to trick a stuttering hick with a shotgun into doing or not doing something, you are asking for trouble. Plain and simple.
No, if you don't get the humor, you're an idiot. Plain and simple.
A mouse from Mexico that's so blatantly offensive he's been removed from the re-runs.
Completely due to out of control political correctness. Today It's ok to portray white males as bumbling fools but to suggest any negativity at all at any "minority" group even in good natured humor is now taboo.
Also, I can't think of another show with so many characters who just hated each other for practically no reason. "Hey, I hate you and I'm going to chase you down until I kill you!" seems like a rational approach towards people who are different from you. Let's impart that on the future generations.
Gee, one COULD say those scenarios are largely what sets the stage for the slapstick humor in looney tunes. No, what you want to impart on to future generation is an emotionless humorless society.
All of these so called problems if they were so dangerous for society should be blatantly obvious because for the most part Looney Tunes had it's height in popularity amongst the baby boomers. I'd suggest that societal have NOT improved but rather have gotten worse in subsequent generations who have not been nearly as exposed to this "dangerous" cartoon.
I feel bad for today's kids. I grew up on Ren & Stimpy. Today's kids have to deal with a bunch of lifeless, mindless animated crap that exists only to shove droves of political correctness down kids' throats.
I had no idea what that anime was about until I saw a bunch of cosplayers roleplaying as the characters at a cosplay convention. I was wondering why they were calling themselves Italy, America, Germany, Japan and other names of different countries. Then it dawned on me, that really is their names. Bought the anime the next day.
Transformers didn't even have that much of a plot. Total environmental destruction for a little energy boost in one episode, followed an attempted genocide in another, and all the while using innocent bystanders as cannon fodder or carpet. And it was still one of the greatest shows!
rocko's modern world taught me that animals eat other animals. hehe. So chicken answers the 'job' ad at chokey chicken for, errr ,employment, yea that it. not to be eaten or anything like that.
heffer wolf(a male cow????) gets taken home by wolves, as he was to skinny to be eaten at the time and then the wolves fall in love with him(while fattening him up to be eaten) and adopt him into their family.
and the turtle was gay and then not gay and marries a cat with a hook for a hand and she has many different jobs.
That's why I like animes. No political correctness to be seen for miles. They have no problem having a super-powered villain beat the s**t out of a little kid just so the little kid can freak out and rip the villain in half in a symphony of blood and violence. All they while they're drinking, swearing and there's all kinds of sexual innuendo. None of that Disney/Warner Bros. crap.
With that said, Batman : The Animated Series totally kicked ass
lol, it started out like a serious anime the pow! Mahjong!
Here's Hetalia: Axis Powers, where all the countries that were involved in WWI & WWII are all represented by high school kids. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SZ7TMiUS3Ks
What about SpongeBob SquarePants? Children idolizing an underwater creature who puts his own life at risk to entertain everyone around him is very heavy stuff. He rips off his own face and exposes his brain for Pete's sake!!! o__O
But despite all that, it's a pretty fun show to watch. ^^

OMG, they have a gripe with Looney Tunes?

There's a skunk who's basically a rapist.
That's a pretty big stretch. I must have missed the part where Pepé Le Pew actually raped anyone. I guess they want to outlaw any undesired advances by any males. I guess there goes the human race. Of course this is exaggerated by the cartoon to make it funny but it has already been established by the first point above, they don't understand cartoon humor.

Animes also delve into politics like this one: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gIO4Uw36-JE
I hear it's based on a true story.

Roadrunner: Coyote is always doing things that would get him killed or maimed if he were real,
