I would say the real highlight of Menace was Darth Maul up until he went out like a punk by Obi Wan in that totally ridiculous way to die.
Yeah, I'm going to stand totally still and watch Obi Wan (who is hanging by his finger tips off a ledge) jumps up, flip over me, telekinetically grab his master's lightsaber, land cat like on his feet and slice me in half.
This is the same guy who was moving like Jet Li on crack, but when it comes to meeting his end he's just gonna stand there like a little beyotch and not block or dodge, or even bother to side step and let Obi Wan fall back into the hole he just jumped out of. Now THAT would have been hilarious.
This is exactly WHY I can't stand these Star Wars prequels. The Jedi can sense planets exploding millions of light years away or other Jedi dying on other planets, but they can't sense their worst enemy is living right next door to them...?
They have all these amazing Force powers that ONLY seem to work as long as its convenient to the story. Otherwise, they are f**king useless.
Also true. Darth Maul was an excellent character creation. I would love to have seen that character and Qui Gon Jinn continue into the next movies as well and even have larger roles, but no, instead we got Jar Jar.
Agreed. Oskar Schindler was way more of a badass then Liam Neeson's character in Taken. Especially when you consider that Oskar was surrounded by Nazis all the time and he still managed to save over a thousand people AND he was an actual person.
In Taken, Liam's character barely manages to rescue his daughter and gets f**ked up in the process.
